The University of Sioux Falls women’s basketball team finished the regular season with a record of 24-5. Despite a loss to Augustana on Friday, the Cougars bounced back with a convincing win over Wayne State on Saturday.
USF was ranked third in the first edition of the Central Region rankings which came out last week. And while the Cougars are all but assured they’ll be in the Central Region Tournament no matter what happens in the NSIC Tournament, Head Coach Travis Traphagen knows they still have an outside chance at hosting the regionals and knows they’ll need a good, if not great, NSIC Tournament to achieve that.
On this edition of the Trap D podcast, Midco Sports Network’s David Brown and Coach Trap discuss digging an early hole against Augustana, playing a more all-around game against Wayne State, and getting ready for the first round of the NSIC Tournament against Minot State.
